Dr. Kenneth N. Darvin serves as Director of Retina Services and is an attending physician at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey. A board-certified ophthalmologist, he specializes in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery with extensive experience in advanced retinal treatments. He has performed thousands of laser procedures and intravitreal injections, with particular expertise in managing diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. In addition to retinal care, he provides comprehensive ophthalmic treatment, including glaucoma management. Dr. Darvin is also committed to community education, regularly offering informational lectures on diabetes-related eye disease and macular degeneration.
Education and Certifications
Dr. Darvin earned his undergraduate degree from The City University of New York and received his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate. He completed both his ophthalmology residency and fellowship training in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery at the same institution. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
