About Adil
Dr. Adil Ahmed is a fellowship-trained cornea and external disease specialist dedicated to delivering personalized, compassionate eye care. Inspired by his own childhood experience as a patient, he approaches each visit with empathy and a strong commitment to patient understanding. Dr. Ahmed provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for corneal conditions and diseases of the ocular surface, tailoring care to each individual’s needs. He combines advanced surgical and medical expertise with a thoughtful, patient-centered approach.
Education and Certifications
Dr. Ahmed earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Stony Brook University and received his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating with honors and induction into Sigma Sigma Phi. He completed his ophthalmology residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, where he served as chief resident in his final year. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in cornea and external diseases at the UCLA Doheny Eye Institute. He is board certified in ophthalmology.
