Education and Certifications

Dr. Kurt Jackson is a fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon with over 15 years of experience. He earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine after graduating as valedictorian from Long Island University. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Jacobi Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident, and went on to complete a two-year vitreoretinal fellowship at South Texas Retina Consultants. Dr. Jackson also served in the United States Army as a medic and ophthalmic technician, earning multiple commendations.
