Dr. Haberman is a highly experienced ophthalmologist committed to providing personalized care. With advanced Post-Doctoral training and experience as Chief Resident in ophthalmology, he brings a strong clinical foundation to his practice. He offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for a wide range of eye conditions, tailoring care to each patient’s individual needs while maintaining a thoughtful, patient-centered approach.
Education and Certifications
Dr. James Haberman is a board-certified ophthalmologist, certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He earned his medical degree from the New York Medical College, where he also completed his ophthalmology training and served as Chief Resident. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Haberman is affiliated with Saint Barnabas Medical Center (Ambulatory Care Center) and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. His professional memberships also include the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the New Jersey Academy of Ophthalmology.
