About Betty
Dr. Betty A. Cervenak is a lifelong resident of New Jersey with a deep commitment to eye care. She has developed a strong interest and expertise in Dry Eye Syndrome and the care of patients with hard-to-fit contact lenses. Dr. Cervenak is dedicated to providing high-quality ophthalmological care to her patients.
Education and Certifications
Dr. Cervenak completed her undergraduate education at St. Peter’s College after attending St. Aloysius Academy. She pursued a research fellowship at Cornell University before earning her medical degree from New York Medical College. Following medical school, she completed her internship and residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York City. Dr. Cervenak is board certified and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Contact Lens Society of America, Research to Prevent Blindness, and Women in Ophthalmology.
